“…The third step thermal decomposition form 215.7 to 358.3 °C corresponds to loss of a release of a Schiff base ligand with mass loss of 42.39% (calculated 44.28%). The last step (358.3–790.1 °C) with mass loss of 68.6% (calculated 66.7%) was assigned to removal of partial pyrolysis of the rest of the organic component, the total mass loss was in accordance with the formation of CoO as the final residue …”

“…In the IR spectra of the ligands, the bands originally attributed to ν(CO) of aldehyde and ν(NH 2 ) of aminothiazole at 1750, 3320 and 3460 cm −1 , respectively, of the starting materials were absent. Instead, a new band appeared at 1653–1672 cm −1 , assigned to ν(HCN) vibration, which confirms the formation of Schiff base . Comparison of the IR spectral data of the ligands and the metal complexes reveals that the band corresponding to ν(HCN) vibration shifts in frequency by 20–25 cm −1 for all the metal complexes, which indicates the involvement of nitrogen of azomethine in metal complexation .…”

“…Molar conductance: Molar conductance for Mn(II) complexes lies in the range of 4-5 (Ω -1 cm 2 mol -1 ) and for Co(II) complexes lies in the range of 5-6 (Ω -1 cm 2 mol -1 ) in DMSO, indicate the non-electrolytic character of the metal complexes [24]. The complexes are supposed to six coordinated and to have octahedral geometry [25].…”
