Determination of RH‐5849 and indoxacarb in rice straw, rice husk, brown rice and soil using liquid chromatography–tandem triple quadrupole mass spectrometry following extraction with QuEChERS method

Abstract: A fast and simple analytical method was developed for the simultaneous determination of RH-5849 and indoxacarb in soil, rice straw, rice husk and brown rice. QuEChERS (quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged and safe) method was used for extraction, and liquid chromatography with tandem triple quadrupole mass spectrometry was used for quantification. The matrix-matched calibration plots were linear in the range between 25 and 5000 μg/L for soil, rice straw, rice husk and brown rice samples. All determination coe… Show more

“…Matrix enhancement was observed for cyazofamid and CCIM in soil, with both matrix/solvent slope ratios >1 (1.02–1.24, Table ). Matrix suppression was observed for metalaxyl in all three matrices and cyazofamid and CCIM in two tobacco matrices, with the matrix/solvent slope ratios <1 (0.54–0.95, Table ) (Li et al, ; Zhang et al, ).…”

“…Indoxacarb dissipations were studies in cabbage, with a half-life of 1.92 and 2.88 days (Urvashi et al 2012) and 2.8–4.6 days (Sun et al 2012), in rice straw with a half-life of 5.83 days (Li et al 2016) and in decaying cotton gin trash with a half-life of 26 days (Crossan and Kennedy 2008). There are no publications available concerning dissipation of indoxacarb in apple fruit.…”

“…The LODs and LOQs of the three analytes in the soil, green tobacco leaf and cured tobacco leaf samples were 0.024−0.06 and 0.08−0.2 mg/kg, respectively. The data presented in Table indicate that signal suppression was observed for clethodim, clethodim sulfoxide and clethodim sulfone in the three matrices (soil, green tobacco leaf and cured tobacco leaf) as the ME values ranged from −75.0 to −25.0% (Li et al, ; Utture et al, ).…”
