“…This study showed that children's sudoku skills did not vary with gender. Similar to previous studies examining children's reasoning skills by gender (Artan & Ergul, 2015;Inan, Aydin & Bilgin, 2017;Ergul, 2014;Pay, 2018).…”

“…Bu sonuçların aksine kavramların karşılaştırılması ve yapısal sayma becerileri açısından yaş değişkeninin etkili olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. İlgili literatür incelendiğinde, bu araştırmada ulaşılan sonuçlar ile benzer bulgulara ulaşan çok sayıda güncel araştırma olduğu belirlenmiştir (Arnas & Sığırtmaç, 2003;Aunio vd., 2008;Aunio vd., 2004;Brace & Nelson 1965;Ergül & Artan, 2015;Kuru, 2015;Olkun vd., 2013;Yılmaz, 2015). Örneğin, Polat Unutkan (2007), yaptığı araştırma sonucunda, 5 yaşındaki çocuklara göre 6 yaşındaki çocukların matematik becerilerinin daha ileri seviyede olduğunu bulmuştur.…”
