“…Chip seals are widespread because the construction operations are less expensive and faster than those necessary for other preservation alternatives (Wasiuddin et al 2012). However, this type of treatment does not provide positive effects on the structural performance of the existing pavement (Islam and Hossain 2012;Aktas et al 2013).
