Developing Emotion Regulation Skills by Emotion Regulation Skills System Training for Children With Mild Intellectual Disability

Abstract: Intellectual disability is deficits in intellectual functions, adaptive functions, and these deficits occure during the developmental period (before the age of eighteen). “…During the pandemic process, emotional-behavioral adaptation problems of individuals with special needs emerged associated with changes such as stay-athome restrictions, not being able to go to school, social isolation, obligatory change of daily routines and limitations in accessing social networks.
