Development of 3D touch trigger probe with real-time observation

Abstract: This study aims at inventing a low-price but high-precision 3D touch trigger probe (or a CMM probe). The tip ball of the stylus, with a diameter smaller than 100 μm, is made by a micro electro discharge machine and wire electro discharge grinding. The stylus is mounted at the centre of a stiff cross-form frame, which in turn is suspended on four micro beams. As proven by several experiments, this structure restricts the degrees of freedom on three directions. The displacement sensor and 2D angle sensor is perf… Show more

“…The use of intelligent detection methods based on 3D laser scanning has technical challenges such as large part size, complex morphology multilayer interwoven, high reflective surface and uncertain quality evaluation Fast acquisition and reconstruction method of large scanning angle surface profile of aeroengine parts with complex structure Improve the situation of low detection efficiency, complex detection process, unstable quality control of aeroengine complex structural parts As early as the 1980s, Germany began studying 3-D measurement technology in su face-structured light. In 1985, Dr. Breckmann introduced phase shift interferometry three-dimensional morphology measurement, establishing a new three-dimensional mo phology measurement technology: the phase-measurement contour technique (PMP [6,7]. Additionally, Dr. Steinbichler and Professor Reinhold Ritter at Germany's Brau schweig Technical University introduced the Steinbichler GmbH COMET 5-3D measur ment system [8,9] and the GOM Gmbh Atos structural light 3-D measurement system [10 In China, Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Shan hai Jiao Tong University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Sichuan University, Huazhong Un versity of Science and Technology, Tianjin University, and many other universities hav As early as the 1980s, Germany began studying 3-D measurement technology in surfacestructured light.…”
