Development of Hormone-Active Fiber in the Form of Artificial Insulin Depot

Abstract: This study examines the phenomena of the hormone-active fibers obtaining process, in the form of artificial insulin depot. As a fibrous carrier of insulin cation-exchange polyacrylonitrile (PAN) fibers and biodegradable polysaccharide alginate fibers were used.
