“…Mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) have been used intensively as delivery system for biomedical applications, as well as encapsulation material for down-conversion LEDs [25,35]. By controlling synthesis condition, MSNs with different pore size and morphology for different application have been prepared [35,36] Similar results also can be concluded for Mn:CsPb(IBr) 3 QDs and silica-coated Mn:CsPb(IBr) 3 QDs according to SEM and the element mapping iamges shown in figure 5. With the consideration that the CsPbBr 3 and Mn:CsPb(BrI) 3 QDs were synthesized by mixing the commercial MSNs with the precursor for preparing these dots at the very beginning, so that these dots had the opportunity to grow in the porous network of the mesoporous silica.…”
