Previously, in adults, a good glaucoma diagnostic performance (as by AUC calculation) was observed for pRNFL measurements by SLP [8,34] as well as OCT [34] and both methods have been reviewed as equivalent in a Cochrane report [19] as well as in a recent large cohort study [13] when considering best performing parameters. In particular, SLP parameters with the highest AUC are the nerve fibre indicator (NFI) and the TNSIT score, which are both calculated values without an OCT surrogate.…”
