Diagnostics of Fly-by-Wire Control System/Kompiuteriu Reguliuojamos Valdymo Sistemos Diagnostika

Abstract: Abstract. The paper describes the diagnostics of a fly-by-wire control system taken during the creation of this system. Special attention is paid to laboratory tests, which should prove the system could be tested in-flight. An important kind of verification of the system is testing and reconfiguring fault detection and localization methods. The human factor is also taken into consideration.

“…Numerous research centers conduct research on aircraft flight control systems. Scientists focus, for example, on the synthesis of various control laws (Braun et al ., 2014; Chudý et al ., 2009; Hendzel et al ., 2013; Mystkowski, 2013; Rogalski and Wielgat, 2010; Zhang and Jiang, 2008) and navigation algorithms (Eitner and Holzapfel, 2013; Gosiewski and Kulesza, 2013a; Szpunar and Rzucidlo, 2012); they describe hardware structure (Stojcsics and Molnár, 2012; Gosiewski and Kulesza, 2013b; Rydlo et al ., 2013), problems connected with the UAV ground station (Fuchs et al ., 2014) or problems of the system’s reliability (Dołęga, 2011; Dołęga and Rzucidło, 2010; Dołęga and Rogalski, 2008; Krawczyk, 2013). In hardware design for research purposes, it is advisable to use a system based on the digital bus structure, for example, Controlled Area Network (CAN).…”
