Dialysis desiderata*

Abstract: Microarray immunoassay systems, proteomics, separation of polypeptides in plasma by electrophoresis, and detection by mass spectrometry have shown that low molecular weight proteins, cytokines, and chemokines are present in high concentration in chronic kidney disease (CKD) subjects receiving dialysis.
