Diários De Confinamento: A Emergência Do Novo Na Intimidade Da Relação Eu-Outro-Mundo

Abstract

Resumo Este trabalho discute e caracteriza as dinâmicas subjetivas e intersubjetivas das relações eu-outro(a)-mundo próprias à experiência íntima de confinamento domiciliar, a partir de diários textuais produzidos por três mulheres confinadas durante a pandemia. A partir da análise dialógica dos dados identificaram-se três estilísticas da intimidade confinada: a “introspecção da deriva”; a “performativa” e o “subjetivismo de fresta”. Estas alegorias dialógicas lançam luz sobre: (a) os principais impasses na manutenção das formas de vida pré-virais; (b) as ambiguidades enunciativas e ambivalências afetivas na construção de alternativas ao período de confinamento na dinâmica ser-com-os-outros e os-outros-em-mim; (c) as formas de vivência do tempo, na reconstrução do passado, nos modos de elaboração de futuros através também das intensidades do presente.

The use of diaries in psychological research: The creative and dialogical intimacy of self-other-world relationships in the context of cultural mutations

“…As mentioned above, this discussion is based on two studies carried out by the authors, which sought to investigate how cultural mutations caused by the pandemic were felt and, consequently, transformatively signified in everyday intimacy. In the first study carried out during the first wave of the coronavirus (Pinheiro & Mélo, 2020), the group of participants was composed of four people identified with the female gender, residents of the metropolitan region of Recife, middle-class and in a situation of home confinement. In the details of the body's movement in the domestic world or in the professional environment, through the descriptions of incarnated routines, through the stylistic ways of fictionalizing the world (Pinheiro & Mélo, 2020), the productions of the diaries unveil themselves, above all, as resources incorporated into their experiences. “…The first focuses on the relationship between diaries and the idiographic and qualitative perspectives in Psychology, thus elaborating questions about validity and generalization as we consider singularity and culture. In the second part, we will approach the psychic dimensions at stake in the diary experience, highlighting the dynamics between intimacy (Pinheiro, in press; Pinheiro e Mélo, 2020) and the emergence of novelty (Pinheiro & Simão, 2020; Valsiner, 2019). In this part, a brief discussion will also be developed on: (i) corporeality (Merleau-Ponty, 2007); (ii) the meaning-making processes in the affective semiosis of daily intimacy (Innis, 2020); and (iii) the ways of experiencing temporality (Simão, Guimarães, & Valsiner, 2015) accessed and reconstructed by the participants in relationship with the instrument.…”

Moreover, it is an affective-semiotic process triggered by meaning-making demands for reconstruction of experiences, or even a form of imaginative-perspectivation inquiry about the ambiguous signs of experience (Pinheiro, 2020; Pinheiro & Mélo, 2020). “…The current paper is based on the authors' research experience constructed in two separate investigations of everyday cultural mutations and the dynamics of intimacy in times of pandemic. The first investigation was carried out with middle-class women from the metropolitan area of Recife, living in home confinement during the first wave of the virus in Brazil (Pinheiro & Mélo, 2020). Regarding the second, the same thematic field of the intimacy of cultural mutations had its focus oriented towards the experiential dynamics of frontline physicians and nurses in caring COVID-19 patients (Barros et al, 2021).…”
