“…The outline of its left border is convex laterally (Schatzki and Hallermann, 1930;Assmann, 1934), and it has been suggested that this is caused by an aneurysmal widening of the pre-stenotic part of the aorta or of the origin of one of the great vessels (Schatzki and Hallermann, 1930).
