Dietary carbohydrate modification enhances insulin secretion in persons with the metabolic syndrome

Abstract: Rye bread and pasta-based carbohydrate modification enhances early insulin secretion in persons with the metabolic syndrome, which may lower the risk of deteriorating glucose tolerance and development of type 2 diabetes.
