Differences in Kinetics and Coordination between Walking Barefoot and Walking in Rocker Bottom Shoes

Abstract: Different types of shoe constructions have been developed with an unstable base including rocker bottom shoes (RBS). Contribution/ OriginalityThis study contributes to the existing literature by combining the coordinated timing kinematics and ground reaction force (GRF) differences between walking barefoot and walking in rocker bottom shoes (RBS). GRF and transition time differences between barefoot and RBS wear suggests different strategies are used in preparation for the swing phase of gait.
