“…The non‐targeted metabolite profiling was conducted for the Algerian DPF crude extracts using 1 H‐NMR spectroscopy. Following the identification process, 49 compounds were tentatively assigned based on the comparison with the previous literature and the Chenomx database (Diboun et al, ; Farag et al, ; Farag, Mohsen, Heinke, & Wessjohann, ; Maulidiani et al, ). The spectroscopic data and the compound IDs are summarized in Table S2 Supporting information.…”

“…Furthermore, acute toxicity study with date palm extract prior to our project on biological investigation of date extracts revealed extended period of sleep in test animals. All these observations prompted us, as a part of our research on Prophetic medicine (El-Ameen et al 2015; Halabi and Sheikh 2014; Maulidiani et al 2015; Taha et al 2015), to evaluate and compare neuropharmacological effects of two date cultivars growing in Madinah (Ajwah and Safawy) and one growing outside Madinah but within Saudi Arabia (Sukkari).…”

“…PLS‐DA of 162 metabolites of all different samples resulted in complete separation into different groups. PLS model established the relationship between the different samples using the analysed metabolites identified by UPLC‐MS and HPTLC and this model can be used for metabolic discrimination that was a previous study agreement . Using PLS‐DA, the biplot (Figure B) showing a well‐defined separation of metabolite present in different samples follows a direction combining the first and second components.…”
