This research aims to develop an Android-based e-textbook for a learning media course to enhance student learning outcomes. The learning media course was selected because students require an e-textbook to improve their comprehension of the criteria and creation techniques of learning media during online learning. This study utilized the research and development method with the 4D model created by Thiagarajan and Semmels. Six learning media expert validators tested the product’s feasibility, and the product’s effectiveness was tested on students through experiment research. Descriptive statistics and an eligibility criteria table were used to determine the product’s feasibility and usability. In addition, an independent sample t-test was used to determine the product’s effectiveness. According to the expert evaluation results, the product validity falls into the "very good" category (4.50 out of 5, or 90%) in aspects of language, presentation, appearance, and usefulness. The effectiveness test results indicated that the Android-based e-textbook significantly affects student learning outcomes. In addition, students’ perceptions of the usefulness, ease of use, and satisfaction of the Android-based e-textbook are also in the "very good" category (4.27 out of 5, or 85%). According to a qualitative data survey, students mentioned that the most useful aspects of the product were the tutorial videos, quizzes, menus, and page markers. Nevertheless, a few students experienced difficulties with their internet connection and reading limitations.

Having literacies in economics and financial will be beneficial to enhancing individual and family well-being. The purpose of this research aims to produce an e-book on economic literacy. To achieve the purpose, this study adopted a research and development method. Media is developed through student analysis, state objectives, determine goals, choosing methods, media and materials, which require student participation, evaluation and revision. Product development was validated by material experts, media experts, and piloted on a limited scale. The results of this study indicate that the e-book as learning media is effective in contextual economic learning. Also, it is perceived as easy to use for self-study, and it effectively supports blended learning. However, the findings also noted that many students choose traditional classroom learning instead of using blended learning. Further researchers can develop e-book learning media that supports blended learning in other difficult subjects with limited time and access to learning. The ability to create and use effective learning media is critical to students’ academic success. Therefore, a customized learning model for a learning media course needs to be developed to enhance learning effectiveness. The mobile-assisted project-based learning (PjBL) model was developed under the guidance of the Dick and Carey model to improve student learning outcomes in a learning media course. The validity test conducted for this model received a good score from expert validators, with an average score of 4.50 for usability and presentation, 4.56 for display, and 4.53 for language. The effectiveness test showed a high average n-gain of 0.83 in the one-to-one trial, 0.74 in the small group trial, and 0.73 in the large group trial. In addition, student feedback on the practicality of the mobile-assisted PjBL model was very good, with an average score of 4.31, or 86% of the ideal score. Based on these results, it is highly recommended to implement the mobile-supported PjBL model when teaching a learning media course.
