The principles of sustainable management are applicable to all sectors, and especially to tourism, as they relate to the environmental, economic and socio-cultural aspects of the development of the activity. Tourism and sustainable development are inextricably linked given that the tourism product is based on the natural resources and the preserved cultural identity of peoples. Tourism organizations shape their offering by establishing an appropriate balance between these three dimensions in order to offer an attractive tourism product. This is possible only by building a system for sustainable development of the tourist organization. In the present study, the relationship between innovation and sustainable management of tourism organizations is sought. For this purpose, the possibilities for innovation in the activity of the tourist organization are presented, the principles of sustainable management of the organization are clarified and the role of the system for sustainable management is outlined. As a result of the conducted research, technological innovations are presented that allow organizations to use resources more rationally and achieve sustainable development.

The paper presents an automated irrigation system developed for the needs of private farms and non-profit organizations in the Balkans. Specific hardware and software components are combined for its construction and efficient management. The system is undergoing trials and test implementation among selected groups of customers. For the convenience of users, with the aim of saving time and costs, as well as for continuous remote access to the system, a mobile application has been developed for monitoring work processes, climatic conditions and water supplies. The methodology for the design and implementation of the proposed system and the mobile application for its control included preliminary test studies and discussions with potential customers in need of remotely controlled irrigation systems, including difficult-to-access areas. The authors of the paper present implemented solutions in the mobile application. This paper describes the basic processes of building the system, available hardware components, software management and user interface of the mobile application.

With the rapid development of digital technology, the smart sensor-based container equipment and intelligent logistics operations contribute to achieving the efficiency improvement and sustainability achievement of container supply chain under the IoT-based logistics 4.0 scenarios. This paper tries to study the state-of-the-art knowledge of the container logistics supply chain management motivated by digital techniques. Through data-driven analysis this review is performed to assist researchers and practitioners to better understand the container logistics management. The integrated research framework is designed by developing a bibliometric analysis study to address the research themes of the container logistics era. The related publications from the Web of Science database from 2003 to 2022 were indexed and 2897 reference samples are collected as the research data. In addition, the VosViewer is adopted to portray the network, co-occurrence, and co-word analysis by visualizing the collaborative relationships of collected samples. The results show that digital technology has been widely applied in container logistics supply chain management practices, contributing to resilience and sustainability improvement by intelligent operations. These research findings are also helpful for researchers by providing a deep penetrating insight into research opportunities and great potentials of container logistics supply chain by innovative digital technology-enabled practices.
