This study constructs a cloud computing-based college English multimedia test question modeling and application through an in-depth study of cloud computing and college English multimedia test questions. The emergence of cloud computing technology undoubtedly provides a new and ideal method to solve test data and paper management problems. This study analyzes the advantages of the Hadoop computing platform and MapReduce computing model and builds a distributed computing platform based on Hadoop using universities’ existing hardware and software resources. The study analyzes the advantages of the Hadoop computing platform and the MapReduce computing model. The UML model of the system is given, the system is implemented, the system is tested functionally, and the results of the analysis are given. Multimedia is the critical link to realizing the optimization of English test questions. The proper use of multimedia test questions will undoubtedly become an inevitable trend in the development of English test questions in the future, which requires every worker on the education front to continuously analyze and study the problems arising from multimedia teaching, summarize the experience of multimedia teaching, and explore new methods of multimedia teaching, so that multimedia teaching can better promote the optimization of English test questions in colleges and universities and better serve the education teaching.

. Listening comprehension is considered to be one of the most important and challenging skills for both EFL instructors and university students. The lack of experimental research on applying digital resources for developing listening comprehension skills with university students makes the issue relevant. In this paper, the researchers reviewed the latest publications on the approaches to teaching listening comprehension to first-year university students. The review of the literature indicated that teaching listening comprehension can significantly benefit from utilizing digital technology. The present paper considers a three-phase renewed approach to listening comprehension. A study was carried out with Randall’s ESL cyber listening lab materials that the authors used to develop listening comprehension skills. The content and principles of Internet resources contribute to reaching learning outcomes defines in the EFL curriculum. The article attempts to summarize the practical experience in conducting EFL classes based on Internet listening lab materials and to develop guidelines for using listening comprehension resources in EFL classrooms. Based on the findings of the study, we can conclude that most participants (75%) have a positive attitude towards using Internet resources in EFL classrooms. The majority of students consider that Randall’s ESL cyber listening lab materials can assist in improving listening skills and acquiring new vocabulary. Several recommendations have emerged from the study based on the findings. We recommend when planning the lesson part "listening comprehension" in an EFL university classroom use one of the effective techniques – Internet sites for improving listening comprehension skills with carefully designed listening activities, vocabulary games and Internet-based investigations.

Listening comprehension is crucial to language learning for learners. There is no doubt that student who can apply their listening skills enable to their language proficiency on other too. Because of the instructors deeply stay on other language skills, students lag their skills to listening, and decide as it was simple to understand it. However, different supportive strategies to listening skills such Digital Language Learning System installation for EFL students have several lots of purposes as it helps both instructors and students of the language. The application of using Digital Language Learning System helps the students to learn through self-study, demonstration, listening audio materials and develop their language proficiency. The intended uses Digital Language Learning in the English classroom have been considered as the major resource to develop students’ language skills among the students. However, the pedagogy of preparing the lesson plan to teach English listening skills in the daily classroom is nearly neglected one. There is a complacency that having the skills of speaking, writing, and reading in EFL Class able to make us satisfied. To this end, FL English language instructors ignore listening skills since they are not avail themselves in trying to teach this skill in their lesson to make students acquire the target language.
