In light of climate change and deterioration, innovative methods are needed to raise environmental awareness and promote sustainable practices. Conventional methods often fail to engage a wide audience, highlighting the need for new creative methods. Gamification, which uses incentives, rivalry, narrative, and user interaction to encourage and activate people for environmental causes, is a promising solution. This book analyses how gamification might raise environmental awareness and encourage action. This text examines gamification's theoretical foundations, empirical evidence on its usefulness, and successful sustainability programmes that have used gamification. The text also provides a framework for constructing robust gamified programmes. Gamification can make sustainability efforts fun. This method may engage diverse demographics, simplify complex environmental issues, and motivate people to take action. This project aims to inform scholars, educators, legislators, and practitioners who want to promote a sustainable future through creative and engaging methods.
