Directional Scaling Symmetry of High-symmetry Two-dimensional Lattices

Abstract: Two-dimensional lattices provide the arena for many physics problems of essential importance, a scale symmetry, which rarely exists as noticed by Galileo, in such lattices can help reveal the underlying physics.
