Abstract:Burkholderia multivorans causes opportunistic pulmonary infections and is intrinsically resistant to many antibacterial compounds including the hydrophobic biocide triclosan. Chemical permeabilization of the Pseudomonas aeruginosa outer membrane affects sensitization to hydrophobic substances.
