The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation and constraints and provide recommendations in the process of recognition and measurement of intangible assets of basic geospatial data and information. This research uses a qualitative method through a case study at the Geospatial Information Agency. Data collection methods were conducted by document analysis, observation, and in-depth interviews with policy implementers and related management. The results showed that there are implementation weaknesses and obstacles in the process of recognizing and measuring intangible assets in the form of basic geospatial data and information. Weaknesses occurred in implementation including the budgeting process, budget execution, and reporting. Implementation weaknesses that occurred included the absence of involvement of the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus in budget revisions, the absence of standardized submission forms, corrections in the reporting section that were not communicated to the budgeting and implementation sections, and capital expenditure returns that had not been integrated with the asset module. In addition, obstacles also occur, including communication factors, resources, dispositions, and bureaucratic structures that occur simultaneously with each other. This research provides recommendations for guideline revisions and practical mechanisms to properly implement the guidelines in the process of recognizing and measuring intangible assets in the form of basic geospatial data and information.

Lake Toba is known as a tourism destination and also has aquaculture that is utilized for freshwater fish. However, several types of endemic fish and consumable fish cultivated in Lake Toba are facing the threat of extinction, and their populations are decreasing due to the presence of Red Devil Fish. The research aims to explain how the local government’s strategic planning efforts mitigate the invasion of Red Devil Fish and preserve the ecosystem in Lake Toba. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive methods. This research prioritizes secondary data collection that can support research. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results showed that the Indonesian government must overcome the problem of red devil fish invasion into the Indonesian aquatic ecosystem. The presence of Red Devil fish in Lake Toba has reduced the number and diversity of fish, including the extinction of several native fish species. The impact of this invasion damages the ecosystem and causes economic losses such as control costs and decreased fish production for public consumption. The local government’s strategic planning in protecting the Lake Toba ecosystem from Red Devil fish invasion is carried out by controlling spatial planning, conducting talks, and collaborating with various related parties. The North Sumatra Provincial Marine and Fisheries Service and the Fish Family Association have implemented strategies to minimize Lake Toba’s Red Devil fish population. Increasing community involvement in managing the Lake Toba ecosystem and reducing the Red Devil fish population is crucial.

This academic study has been conducted on the intricate interaction between religion and the state in Indonesia. Religion plays a significant role in how the state communicates its policy messages, which includes the COVID-19 policy in Indonesia. This study examines how state power dynamics and religious fatwas in the digital age affect Indonesia's adoption of the COVID-19 policy. A fatwa is a legal opinion or a decree which is passed down by an Islamic religious leader. The research methodology was carried out by looking at a wide range of relevant literature sources such as including books, academic journals, and already published research. The study results demonstrate that implementing government policies relating to the COVID-19 vaccine and the policy followed has produced a lobbying environment for developing power relationships between various role players. The interaction between the state's laws for addressing COVID-19 and the interests of religious organizations is often complicated and changes based on the nation involved and the specific situation that may be faced. The government has used the fatwa issued by the Indonesian Ulema Council to remedy several issues, including that faced during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is argued that in the current digital age, it is vital to allay any fears about the inconsistency of government policies toward religion and then there is also the possibility of fatwas to incite exclusivist views among some religious groups.
