“…Hans Morgenthau, another great exponent of the historiography of IR, was born in the German city of Coburg in 1904. In the 1920s, he graduated in Law and Diplomacy from the universities of Frankfurt and Munich, and in 1929 obtained a doctorate in law from the University of Frankfurt (Griffiths 2001;Souza 2006). In the early 1930s, Morgenthau taught law at the University of Geneva, and in 1935 he worked at the Institute for International and Economic Studies in Madrid.…”
