Abstract: BackgroundFecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) has shown high cure rates against recurrent Clostridioides difficile infection regardless of donor microbiota characteristics, whereas the clinical response of FMT in inflammatory bowel disease appears to be donor-dependent.
