Drug-induced ophthalmic adverse reactions

Abstract: We review important adverse drug reactions to systemic medicines that are evident in the eye. Examples include dry eye from isotretinoin; corneal deposits from amiodarone; cataract from corticosteroids; glaucoma from nebulised ipratropium bromide; and optic neuropathy from linezolid.
