DTC-SVPWM of an Energy Storage Flywheel Associated with a Wind Turbine Based on the DFIM

Abstract: In this article we will control the energy storage inertial noted inertial energy storage system to partner with a wind energy conversion system that aims to improve the power quality transit network. Inertial storage is considered a flywheel coupled to an induction motor and controlled by a voltage inverter type power converter. First step, a model of inertial energy storage system (flywheel + asynchronous machine) is presented, then two control methods are proposed: the direct torque control (DTC and DTCconv… Show more

“…Such issues coincide with the interests of the authors of the paper, as exemplified by the paper [14]. The construction and selection of parameters of regulators and energy storage system management systems is a frequent issue in the scope of cooperation between WPP-FESS [16][17][18][19][20]. Their main objective is to reduce the adverse characteristics of wind energy, especially stochastic and dynamic changes in wind speed.…”

“…The value of electricity A WPP generated by the wind power plant consisting of N WT identical wind turbines over a period of one year can be determined on the basis of the measured wind speed variations and the power curve of the turbine P 1WT (v w ). Using dependence (2), the energy generated during year y is determined from the dependence: (16) where: N-number of wind speed measurement samples per year y.…”
