Dynamic Adsorption of Cr (VI) Ions from Aqueous Solution by Canna Edulis Ker Residue in a Fixed-Bed Column

Abstract: A continuous dynamic adsorption in a fixed-bed column was studied by canna edulis ker residue (CEKR) as an adsorbent for the removal of Cr (VI) ions from aqueous solution. The dynamic adsorption process was simulated by some mathematic models, to determine the characteristic parameters of the column. The results indicated that CEKR could effectively absorb Cr (VI) ions from aqueous solution.
