Dynamic design tool for canned switched reluctance machines

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to investigate the development of new high efficiency switched reluctance drives for hydraulic pump systems at low-cost applications. Therefore, the induction motors often used in conventional hydraulic pump systems until now, should be replaced by switched reluctance drives.
