Dynamical modeling and coupling characteristic analysis of the multistage gears system in a continuous miner

Abstract: The lumped parameter method is adopted to establish a dynamic model of two stage planets and multistage fixed-shaft gears in which the effect of coupling shaft section radius on the system in a continuous miner is considered. The acceleration test of the system proves the accuracy of the proposed model. With the increase of cross section size of the coupled shaft, the influence of the first stage meshing frequency on the second stage planetary system is enhanced.
