Selong Belanak Village is part of the 9 buffer villages of the Mandalika Circuit. The condition of the village, which is known as a village that is often affected by floods, landslides and earthquakes every year, requires the Disaster Response Village Program (DESTANA). Program implementation is focused on having independent capabilities to have the ability to recognize threats in their area and be able to organize community resources to reduce vulnerability while increasing capacity to reduce disaster risk, prevent and anticipate disasters caused by human actions, respond to disasters to natural phenomena, adapt and face potential natural disasters, if after the disaster in order to be able to minimize the impact of the disaster. The method is carried out by carrying out the following activities: socialization about potential disasters, tree replanting activities (reforestation), cleaning beaches and houses of worship, and installing disaster signs. Community Service Efforts need ongoing training to improve the ability of DESTANA volunteers to improve their skills and abilities about DESTANA when dealing with natural disasters. The preparedness of DESTANA reminds us that we must continue to be alert to disasters
