The present study was carried out to isolate and identify the endophytic fungi from different plant parts (Leaves, Twig, and Shoot) of Limonia acidissima L. and to screening the antioxidant activity. The plants samples were collected and processed within 24 hours with modified surface sterilization. The plants segments were placed on PDA incubated for four weeks. The emerging fungal colonies were sub-cultured and identified morphologically and microscopically. The present study proves that the plant segments of endophytic fungi colonized 150 Segments were screened from leaves, twigs and shoot of selected medicinal plant. A total of 34 isolates were obtained. Among them 7 were classified into sterile morphospecies, remaining were classified into 28 species which belongs to 11 genera. The predominant endophytic fungi were Phyllosticta Sp., Phoma Sp., Nigrospora sphaerica, Alternaria alternata, Dreschlera australiensis, Sterile forms. The phytochemicals present in the Limonia acidissima L. were Tannins, Saponins, Terpenoids, Cardiac glycosides, Steroids, Flavonoids and Phenols. The antioxidant of free radical scavenging activity was recorded around 99% inhibition at the concentration of 25mg/ml. The Limonia acidissima L. were 100% of endophytic fungal infection and also the endophytes are effectively free radical scavenging activity and the R square values are significant. The microbes are fast producers for natural products and it makes excellent drugs for curing many diseases.
