In this work, the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (2015-2030). It is the first major agreement of the post-2015 development agenda and offers Member States a series of concrete actions that can be taken to protect the benefits of development against the risk of disasters. Regarding the objectives pursued by this Framework, they are: the reduction of disaster risk and losses caused by disasters, both in lives, livelihoods and health as well as in people's economic, physical, social, cultural and environmental assets, companies, communities and countries. This is where the education factor would have its influential role. Although in the Spanish case there are still few works on experiences and didactic proposals regarding the teaching of natural risks from Geography, the Sendai Framework constitutes a first and fundamental step to integrate these phenomena in school, as stated in the LOMLOE (2020).
