This study aims to determine the impact of Islamic financial literacy on the academic community at IAIN Ambon in investing in the Islamic capital market. The research methodology uses interpretive qualitative techniques. Data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews with the academic community who became informants who were determined using the purposive sampling technique. The results of the study revealed that the academic community of IAIN Ambon has high financial literacy because they received special education through investment courses and special Islamic capital markets for students, and training for lecturers and other staff, but it has not had a maximum impact on investment decisions in the Islamic capital market. The reason is that the implementation and assistance from the results of education and training are not carried out optimally. Another cause is the level of income and risk that the community thinks so that it creates boredom to invest.

Until today, the Indonesian people have had little involvement in the stock market. The main source of the problem is a lack of capital market literacy, which must be addressed by the Indonesia Stock Exchange as a regulator as well as other parties such as academia. Investments in capital market instruments can undoubtedly benefit the community, especially MSMEs players who can distribute some of the revenue generated by the firms they run and then use the returns on these investments for business expansion. Based on these conditions, our service program seeks to improve MSMEs' performance through Sharia-compliant stock investment instruction and mentorship programs. The Community Service Method (PKM) incorporates the Deming Cycle concept, namely plan; do; check; and act, as well as the capital market education model developed by the PKM team. PKM partners are 33 MSME students from Bandung's various educational universities. The PKM results show a significant positive increase in the level of literacy and understanding of Islamic stock investment practices, as evidenced by the results of the different tests where the t-value is greater than the t-table, namely 20.375 > 2.0345, implying that the PKM program was effective. This boost in competence is likely to assist MSME students earn more money to help their businesses grow. This PKM tool also generates capital market investment modules that novice investors can simply understand.

Program pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan tata kelola keuangan mitra, dengan melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan penyusunan perencanaan keuangan serta investasi saham syariah kepada 27 anggota studepreneur (kelompok mahasiswa wirausaha STIE EKUITAS. Berdasarkan hasil survey awal menunjukan 100% mahasiswa wirausaha STIE EKUITAS mepraktekan tata kelola keuangan bisnis yang buruk dengan tidak melakukan pencatatan secara rutin, perencanaan keuangan dan investasi. Kondisi ini menjadi dasar dilakukanya PKM pendapampingan perencanaan keuangan dan investasi saham syariah yang merupakan implementasi tatakelola keuangan. Metode pelaksanaan PKM mengadopsi model Daming, selain itu juga PKM ini menerapkan model edukasi pasar modal hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan oleh tim sebelumnya. Pre-test dan post test digunakan dalam tahapan evaluasi untuk mengukur efektifitas program PKM. Hasilnya menunjukan terdapat perbedaan sangat signifikan peningakatan kemampuan mitra dalam melakukan perencanaan keuangan dan investasi saham syariah, dengan rata-rata kenaikan 299%. PKM selanjutnya akan dilakukan pendampingan secara terstruktur dan menyeluruh tata kelola khusus bagi UMKM, hal ini ditujukan agar PKM lebih efektif dalam menciptakan UMKM mandiri berbasis IPTEK.Abstract: This community service programme strives to improve partners' financial management by providing training and assistance in financial planning and sharia share investment. The survey found that 100% of student-entrepreneur members have poor firm financial governance as a result of a lack of regular documentation, financial planning, and investment. This condition serves as the foundation for implementing financial good governance through the PKM programme. The Daming model is used in the PKM implementation approach, and the capital market education model is used as a consequence of earlier research conducted by the team. In the evaluation step, pre- and post-tests are utilised. As a result, there is a considerable difference in spouses' ability to carry out financial planning and invest in sharia shares, with an average rise of 299%. PKM will next be given structured assistance to strengthen MSME governance, with the goal of increasing PKM's effectiveness in building autonomous MSMEs based on science and technology.
