Educational Tests as a Means of Forming Professional Competencies of Students

Abstract

The article presents an overview of the main prospects for the implementation and use of educational testing platforms in educational institutions. The authors examine the meaning of such concepts as «test», «distance testing», «training test», and define the features of their semantic meanings. The main four groups of educational distance testing with a list of digital platforms and tools are identified. Designing the educational process in the conditions of distance learning puts forward tasks for testing -a productive and creative approaches to identify and improve the professional competencies of students.
