Edutainment With Computer Game as a Chemistry Learning Media

Abstract: Abstract. The research aims to get answers to whether chemistry learning with computer-based games as learning media can create fun learning (edutainment). The study was conducted on students in three high schools in chemistry learning according to plan, during the learning activities were observed by students, before and after learning the learning outcomes tests and student questionnaires were conducted. The results showed that learning activities were 90.4% to 92.0% as expected, 90% to 100% of students stat… Show more

“…Based on these results there is a positive influence Classical completeness = Atlantis Highlights in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences, volume 1 on student learning outcomes after using the Chemmo Configuration game as a learning media on the Material Periodic System material. These results are in line with research by Lutfi et al which states that student learning outcomes have improved after using games as a learning medium and making students feel learning chemistry is fun [8].…”

“…Based on the results above, there is a significant influence positive on the learning outcomes of students after the application of the game as learning Media. The results obtained were uniform with the research which confirms that student learning outcomes can increase after implementing the game as a learning media and make students feel that learning chemistry is fun (Lutfi et al, 2019). Result in pretest increases from the posttest results following the theory namely the increase in the well-being of students improves academic achievement, either directly or indirectly (Noble & Wyatt, 2008).…”
