This study aimed to determine the improvement in writing skills of science teaching materials for elementary school teachers students through the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model. This study used a quasi-experimental method with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design using portfolio assessment sheets to write science teaching materials. Data were analyzed using a T-test. This study's subjects were pre-service teacher students who contracted Natural Science Learning courses in the Elementary Teacher Education Program. The study results indicated that PjBL could increase pre-service teachers' skills in developing teaching materials relevant to the 21st-century skills, students' character, and the applicable curriculum. This result is evidenced by the results of the assessment, which increased significantly from 2.04 to 3.25. It is also based on the Wilcoxon test that Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) 0.05 which is 0.000. It means that there is an influence in the form of an increase in the PjBL model's use of the writing skills of science teaching materials for elementary teacher students. This study recommends that the PjBL model can be used as an alternative learning model to improve the writing skills of teaching materials for students.

The aims of this study were (1) to explain the effectiveness of learning to write invitation letters using a project based learning model for fifth grade elementary school students, (2) to explain the effectiveness of learning to write invitation letters using an expository model for fifth grade elementary school students, (3) to find out differences in the level of the effectiveness of learning to write invitation letters with project based learning models and expository models for fifth grade elementary school students. The research designs used in this study were quasi-experiment designs. The results of this study 1) Learning to write invitation letters with a project based learning model had an effect on increasing learning outcomes in writing invitation letters for fifth grade elementary school students, 2) Learning to write invitation letters with an expository model had an effect on increasing learning outcomes in writing invitation letters at fifth grade elementary school students, 3) learning to write invitation letters with an expository model was better than project based learning model learning in improving learning outcomes to write invitation letters for fifth grade elementary school students. This research is based on a preliminary study obtained in the initial data on improving math learning outcomes which only reached 45%, so it is necessary to apply a project-based learning model based on lapbook media. This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes through a lapbook-based project-based learning model in third grade math lessons at SDN 1 Semplo. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research subjects were third grade students of SD Negeri 1 Semplo with a total of 29 students. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used was descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The project-based learning model which is a learning model that uses an activity, project as a medium that results in an increase in student learning outcomes, while the lapbook is a medium produced using project-based learning which can be a portfolio of student work and assignments. The increase in pre-cycle learning outcomes was 45% (13 students), increased in cycle I to 62% (18 students) and in cycle II increased to 86% (25 students). So, by applying the Lapbook-based Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model can improve the learning outcomes of third grade Mathematics students of SDN 1 Semplo.
