Effect of Anti-adhesive Lubricants on the Quality of Rubbery Heat-shielding Coatings

Abstract

Rubbery heat-shielding coatings (RHSCs) are widely used in the aircraft industry and in rocket building. The chemical composition and processing methods of RHSCs are similar to those of general-purpose rubbers. However, the presence of special additives in their composition ensures increased heat resistance and thermal stability of articles. One of the important aspects of formation of a high-quality heat-shielding coating is the choice of anti-adhesive lubrication applied to the forming surface of the compression mould.
