Effect of carbon and silicon carbide on the properties of carboxylated refractories

Abstract: The interrelation between the content of carbon and silicon carbide and the properties of carboxylated refractories (porosity, mechanical strength, heat resistance, resistance to the action of blast-furnace slag) is studied.
