“…Similar results were reported by earlier researchers on supplementing turmeric in graded levels or in combination with garlic (Karangiya et al, 2016). However, some researchers showed improved feed intake on garlic supplementation (Patel et al, 2014). These differences might be due to the fact that in the present study control group represents ABGP fed group, whereas majority of researchers have compared garlic supplementation with basal diet only.…”

“…Gonzales et al (2003) and Novel et al (2009) also reported longer intestines in males than female broiler chickens. However, other researchers obtained results that are in agreement with the current study indicating that garlic supplementation does not have an effect on gastrointestinal tract length of broiler chickens (Patel et al, 2017;Daneshmand et al, 2012;Tatara et al, 2008). In contrast, Al-Massad et al (2018) reported that powdered garlic promotes small intestine length compared to groups on garlic free diets.…”

“…Regarding the increased dressing percentage of GAE supplementation in diet of broiler chickens several researchers obtained results that con rm the current study (Eltazi et al, 2014;Oleforuh-Okoleh et al, 2014;Fayed et al, 2011). However, other researchers reported that garlic supplementation does not in uence the dressing percentage of broiler chickens (Patel et al, 2017;Kharde and Soujanya, 2014;Fadlalla et al, 2010;Dieumou et al, 2009). The present study shows an improvement in dressing percentage in birds supplemented with GAE when compared to the negative control, however it is statistically similar with the positive control.…”

“…On the other hand, fenugreek cleared an elevating effect on BW and BWG, which come in agreement with Park and Kim (2015). Meanwhile, it not harmony with that results of Saki et al (2014) and Patel et al (2014). Our nding may be attributed to fenugreek controlling effect on potential pathogens in gut micro ora, thus move the animals from immune defense stress to increase absorption of essential nutrients, improving the digestive capacity of the small intestine and thereby helping animals to grow better, as mentioned by Hashemi and Davoodi (2011).…”
