Effect of Fertilization on Yield and NPK Contents in Red Ginger

Abstract: Methodology: Each 15 days along a year were recorded variables for the cluster, and for commercial stems and flowers. Then one plant per experimental unit was separated into flower, leaf, stem and rhizome to analyze NPK. With the data, an analysis of variance, means comparison (Tukey, P ≤ 0.05), and Pearson correlation were performed.

“…Environmental conditions with sufficient available N and an environment that supports optimum nutrient absorption can increase plant biomass. In someone researched on red ginger, fertilization with 216 kg/ha nitrogen gave the highest biomass yield, which was 28.89 g [17]. In addition to nitrogen, the water content in the soil affects the yield of red ginger biomass [18].…”

“…Cow manure 300 g perpolybag treatment that produced rhizomes dry weight of 123.32 g (an increase of 269% from the control treatment) was significantly different from cow manure 100 g perpolybag of 55.34 g and the control treatment with a weight of 33.42 g. [11] nutrients especially Nitrogen (N), Phosphate (P), and Potassium (K) in cow manure play a role in general plant growth and function in the production of assimilates. [12], high N and K elements in fertilizer can result in the dry weight of a plant and higher yields.…”

“…Komposisi media pupuk hijau: tanah (1:2) menunjukkan bobot brangkasan kering tertinggi yaitu sebesar 39,32 g.
