Effect of molten salt reduction on exothermic characteristics of titanium/reduced-silica nanoparticles

Abstract: This paper describes the effect of molten salt reduction on exothermic characteristics of Ti/reduced-SiO2 nanoparticles. Sputtered Ti/Si multilayer film is known to show exothermic reaction by electrical shock or mechanical impact during intermetallic compound formation.
