Effect of NADPH Oxidase Inhibition on Heme Oxygenase-1 Expression in Human Hepatoma Cell Line HepG2

Abstract: Heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) is a stress-responsive protein that is known to regulate cellular functions such as cell proliferation, inflammation, and apoptosis. In this study, we investigated the role of NADPH oxidase on the expression of HO-1 in human liver hepatoma cell line HepG2.
