Effect of Pb substitution on the microstructure and ferroelectric properties of Ba0.7Sr0.3TiO3 ceramic

Abstract: Ferroelectric Ba 0.7 Sr 0.3 TiO 3 (BST) and partially Pb 2+ substituted for Ba 2+ ceramics (Ba 0.7 -x Pb x )Sr 0.3 TiO 3 (x=0.1-0.4, BPST) were prepared by using conventional solid-reaction method. XRD analysis shows that the samples microstructure changes from cubic phase to tetragonal one with the Pb 2+ content increasing. ESEM analysis shows that the Pb 2+ substituted samples have a denser and more uniform surface morphology than that of pure BST. Measured electrical properties suggest that the Pb 2+ substi… Show more

“…The lateral force can be significantly lowered when there are compensating grooves on the valve spool. The impact coefficient with one compensating groove is 0.4, and with three compensating grooves is 0.063 [6]. So, the changing curve of the average contact stress of valve body and the valve spool can be obtained, as shown in Fig.…”

“…Some studies on wave propagation in graded structures constructed by different materials have been reported in recent years. Yang et al [8,9] synthesized a variety of polyurethanes with different formulations and prepared them into a graded polyurethane material by layering pouring. The acoustic characteristics of this graded polyurethane were studied theoretically using the transfer matrix method; also, conducted the experimental tests under different pressures and temperatures.…”
