Effect of photodynamic therapy with photodithazine on morphofunctional parameters of M-1 sarcoma

Abstract: Efficiency and mechanisms of action of photodynamic therapy of M-1 sarcoma were studied experimentally on rats using photodithazine, a novel chlorine photosensitizer. The tissue and cellular targets for this agent are vascular wall, plasma membrane of tumor cells, and intracellular structures responsible for proliferation and biosynthesis.
