We have previously experimented with resistor ladders using laser crystallized polysilicon technology to develop a 3-bit and 5-bit Rail to Rail Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) [9] and great linearity was obtained due to good resistor matching (R = 1 kX ± 50 X).
