“…Figure 4 (a)-(d) shows optical micrographs of nickel free ASS with different percentage of CW and thermal aging at a temperature of 900°C_6 h. The figure demonstrates that the grain boundary attack and grain size varies depending on the percentage of CW and thermal aging temperature. In the absence of CW [0% CW, refer to Figure 4(a)], severe and continuous boundary attack has been observed on the grain boundary (called as ditch structure) at 900 °C_6 h, this temperature is also known as sensitization temperature (Taiwade et al, 2012).
