“…In this work, application of the Box-Behnken design method (15 experiments) to show the effect of three variables; annealing temperature (800-1200 1C), time (1-3 h) and AOT surfactant concentration (0-500 ppm) on crystal structure, crystallite size and magnetic properties was studied. The Box-Behnken design model and estimation of the statistical parameters were discussed in the pervious work [22][23][24]. Table 1 showed the Box-Behnken design with 15 experiments for the studied variables.…”

“…Applying the Box-Behnken design is an efficient method to optimize the selected factors as well as to test the effect of factors interaction. In our previous work, Rashad et al used the Box-Behnken design model to optimize the synthesis conditions of Ni [22], BaTiO 3 [23] and MgSnO 3 [24]. Therefore, in the present work, Box-Behnken design is applied to optimize the synthesis of yttrium iron garnet (Y 3 Fe 5 O 12 ) powders via the co-precipitation method and develop a relationship between magnetic properties of the produced powder and the three synthesis variables (annealing temperature, time and AOT surfactant concentration) at the constant pH value 11.…”

“…and N 2 H 4 can react to form complexes [Ni(N 2 H 4 ) x ] 2? [23,24]. The created N 2 and excess hydrazine can prevent Ni nanoparticles from being oxidized in aqueous solution at 80°C.…”
