Effective teaching and learning of holographic interferometry by a computer simulation package

Abstract: Holographic interferometry (HI) is a typical nondestructive evaluation optical method. However, the teaching and learning of HI is hindered owing to the time‐consuming step of preparing a hologram. A simulation package is developed to boost the effectiveness of the teaching and learning of the HI process. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Comput Appl Eng Educ 6: 235–243, 1998
