Effectiveness of intratympanic injection of dexamethasone in treatment of acute sensorineural hearing loss

Abstract: Acute sensorineural hearing loss is a common pathology in the human population due to impaired sound perception. Along with the widespread systemic use of glucocorticosteroids in recent years, there has been a keen interest in their local delivery via intratympanic injections or through a previously installed shunt in the eardrum.
